In October 2018, Dave Nachmanoff will return to the UK for his second solo UK tour. This will be in celebration of his forthcoming album, "Cerulean Sky". Stay tuned for a full list of dates in the coming weeks!
The generosity of my friends and fans never ceases to amaze me. Last Tuesday, I announced that I am headed into the studio next month to work on my next album, "Cerulean Sky", and I launched a Kickstarter campaign that explains it in detail. By the end of the week, I hit the goal!
To help make this album the best we can make it, we're aiming for a stretch goal of $23,000! We've been adding some more cool rewards and I hope that you will check them out. Every donation helps! Here's a video I filmed over the weekend with the latest update:
Now that we have hit our initial goal you don't have to go through Kickstarter! To donate directly simply email me and let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org . Put "Kickstarter Pledge" in your subject line. I can take Paypal or check - so don't worry, we'll work it out :) .
All the best,
All the best,
As an independent musician, I get by with a LOT of help from my friends. I've used Kickstarter for my previous two records, "Step Up" (2011) and "Spinoza's Dream" (2016). I deeply appreciate the support so many have given me, and am so proud of those albums and everyone who helped me to make them. Now, I'm asking if you might be interested in going on a new journey with me - to record a new CD in Los Angeles with a new set of musicians (who have worked with Richard Thompson and Jackson Browne) and a new producer/engineer (who has worked with Natalie Cole and John Fogerty)! Learn more now.
We are scheduled to start recording in April and plan to have the CD ready for release by July! I have been writing new songs, but may also revisit and revitalize some old favorites such as "Thing of Beauty" and "Grateful." There are also some older songs that I have wanted to record for a long time.
The only catch to Kickstarter is that if the funding goal is not reached, there will be no project, and we have a short deadline to reach that goal! There are also a few offers limited to the first 200 contributors - so don't put off taking a look at the rewards available! Thanks for being part of this journey.

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and a Custom Song makes a memorable gift for someone you love. However, it takes a little time to write and record a custom-tailored song... So if you respond by the end of January 2018, we can make the deadline with no problem, and you will get a 20 PERCENT DISCOUNT! So don't wait. To get the "Best Gift Ever:" email Dave at email@example.com .

On Halloween 2017, Dave appeared on Capital Public Radio to talk about his special concert in Davis, "Under the Influence". Listen to the interview.
In Spring of 2017, I was delighted to learn that I had been nominated for the "SAMMIE" awards in the Folk category. The SAMMIES are a music award honoring artists who live in the Sacramento area, sponsored by one of the local newspapers, the Sacramento News & Review.
They opened voting to the public, so we put the link in the newsletter and on social media - and you all surprised me again when I found out I won the award! I was unable to be at the ceremony, but I just picked up the trophy. Sincere thanks to everyone who supported me.
If you have seen the cover of Al Stewart's last CD "Uncorked" or Dave's 2011 release "Step Up", then you have seen the work of Dave Clements, a Houston based photographer who has recently released a great book of music photographs called "Raising A Hand - The Book". These are black and white photos of artists from Sir Paul McCartney to Dolly Parton to Al Stewart. It's all for a great cause - raising money to fight "Rett Syndrome" (a neurological disorder that strikes mostly girls, causing them to regress to infancy and lose all ability to communicate) and raising awareness about this terrible disease.
"Dave Clements is a mensch and a talented artist. It is a huge honor to be a small part of this ambitious project and I encourage you to visit his website and order a copy for yourself." - Dave Nachmanoff
